A fantastic opportunity has become available for experienced MIG welders to join the modular fabrication team at a well-established manufacturing facility in Sherburn Malton. This is a full-time permanent role with strong long-term prospects consistent hours and excellent shop floor conditions.
Youll be working on high-spec steel-framed modular units used to house critical systems and equipment across a wide range of industrial sectors.
Key duties include:
MIG welding and fabrication of modular components from engineering drawings
Setting out and assembling steel panels and frames to layout and bill of materials
Marking out notching dressing and prepping for paint
Working with jigs and basic survey equipment as required
Ensuring all work is traceable and meets internal quality standards
Shift Patterns:
Day Shift:
Monday to Friday 07:00 15:00
15.97/hr
Back Shift:
Monday to Wednesday 16:30 02:30
Thursday 16:30 02:00
18.32/hr
Overtime:
x1.5 Monday to Saturday
x2 on Sundays
Paid after 37.5 hours
Applicants should have:
NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent shop floor experience
Proven MIG welding skills in a manufacturing or modular environment
The ability to work from technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy
A reliable work ethic and a positive approach to team-based work
