Grade UE07: 40497 to 48149 per annum pro-rata if part time

College of Science and Engineering / School of Engineering

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed term: 30 months

We are recruiting a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Coordinator to facilitate the co-creation and co-delivery of research with patients carers and members of the public in the EPSRC Research and Partnership Hub in Microscale Science and Technology to Accelerate Therapeutic Innovation (MicroTex).

The Opportunity:

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of at home and regular on-campus working.

The salary for this post is 40497 to 48149 per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Significant experience in PPIE involving multi-disciplinary research projects.
  • A track record of collaborating with researchers patients public and healthcare professionals and demonstrable experience of developing successful working partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of public engagement or science communication with the general public.
