Job Description
- Location: Grange Community Nursery and Primary School
- Salary: FTE 24404 (pro-rata 2690.93)
- Hours: 5 per week // 5 days per week // 38 weeks per year
- Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 in the first instance
Are you a caring enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys working with children Grange Community Nursery and Primary School is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the Role:
As a Breakfast Club Assistant you will play a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for children before the start of the school day. You will help prepare and serve breakfast supervise play and activities and ensure the children are happy engaged and ready to start their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and clearing away the breakfast area
- Preparing and serving a healthy breakfast
- Supervising and engaging children in games and activities
- Ensuring the welfare and safety of all children
- Supporting children in developing positive social skills
- Following school safeguarding policies and procedures
We are looking for someone who:
- Is warm friendly and approachable
- Enjoys working with children aged 3-11
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Is punctual reliable and organised
- Has a basic knowledge of food hygiene and first aid (training can be provided)
- Holds or is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
