The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager Acceptance & API the purpose of your role is to be responsible for determining and managing the day-to-day project activities planning executing and overseeing projects to ensure they are delivered on time within budget and according to project objectives while also managing risks and issues including change management and stakeholder management to successfully deliver an end-to-end solution for AP and its members/customers.
Day to day you can expect to:
- Developing project plans timelines budgets and resource allocation strategies.
- Leading and coordinating project teams ensuring tasks are completed according to plan and managing project resources effectively.
- Tracking project progress identifying and resolving issues and making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders including project team members and management.
- Identifying assessing and mitigating potential risks that could impact project success.
- Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Managing project budgets tracking expenses and ensuring projects stay within budget constraints.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation including plans reports and meeting minutes.
- Ensuring compliance with delivery frameworks is achieved.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- 5 years as a Project Manager leading delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent vendor & stakeholder management skills.
- Project methodology working knowledge (PMBOK/Prince II/Agile).
- Knowledge of JIRA Confluence and similar tools.
- Experience working at or with acquirers issuers payment gateways or retailer payment systems preferred.
- Knowledge of payments technology preferred.
