The Project Manager will lead and oversee projects from conception to completion ensuring alignment with company goals timelines and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation manufacturing or capital projects and possess exceptional leadership problem-solving and communication skills. This role requires direct engagement with customers cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure project success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan execute and manage projects ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules budgets and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers throughout the project lifecycle managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams including sales engineering purchasing and production to meet project objectives.
- Oversee project risk management contract changes and financial aspects including payments and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and on-site project management support during installation startup and commissioning as needed.
- Lead and mentor project team members fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Project Management or a related field required.
- Over 3 years of experience in project management within manufacturing engineering or industrial automation required.
- Experience with capital projects plant builds or large-scale industrial implementations required.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Strong leadership organizational decision-making and verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Asana or similar) required.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and motion control components preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and electrical schematics preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management strongly encouraged.
- Successful experience in customer relationship management and project financial oversight preferred.
