Job Description

Pulmonology/Critical Care Permanent Role
  • Location: Dallas TX 75246
  • Shift: Days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD asthma interstitial lung disease pulmonary hypertension and lung cancer.
  • Provide critical care services in the ICU including ventilator management sepsis care and procedural interventions (e.g. central lines thoracentesis).
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests bronchoscopy and other relevant procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide outpatient follow-up and ongoing management of chronic pulmonary conditions.
  • Maintain accurate complete and timely medical records using EMR systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in the state of Texas.
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Experience: 1-2 years but new fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent communication clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
