Job Description
Hospital located a little over an hour from Pierre SD is seeking a full-time Director of Dietary.
Salary: $48000 - $63000/annually
Director of Dietary:
- The Director of Dietary is expected to manage the quality of performance for employees in the Dietary Department
- As supervisor of these employees some expectations included in the role but not limited to: interviewing hiring counseling disciplining and performance review
- Director of Dietary will coordinate education and training of team member
- On a daily basis is expected to oversee adequate staffing and scheduling issue
Director of Dietary Qualifications:
- Must complete Dietary Management Course within 2 years of hire date.
- Certified Dietary Manager certification

- Founded in the late 1800s
- Traditionally centered around agriculture especially cattle farming and ranching. Its also a hub for grain production.
- Continental climate hot summers cold winters. Temperatures can drop well below freezing in winter.
- Known for its outdoor activities including hunting and fishing with nearby lakes and rivers.
