Job Description
Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning execution and defect tracking ensuring functionality performance and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications databases and operating systems they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.
As a Senior Tester at Endava you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital solutions through comprehensive and methodical testing practices. You are expected to lead by example in designing and executing test strategies collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality. Your ability to analyze complex systems mentor others and communicate risks and test outcomes effectively will be essential to the success of the testing effort across projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates across parties involved in product systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage
Identifies improvements in requirements design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing
Analyses and reports on test activities results issues and risks including the work of others
Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to transfer expertise and best practices within the testing team and across the organization
Selects appropriate testing approach
Develops and executes test plans and test cases
Qualifications :
5 years of experience
Excellent understanding of testing principles methods and processes
Excellent knowledge of manual testing methods & frameworks preferably in a web mobile and backend environment and a proven track record of success in this area
Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools like Jira TestRail Zephyr etc.
Proficient in collecting test metrics analyzing results of test execution and creating comprehensive automation summary reports
Exposure to design and implement Test Strategy Test Plan and Test Approach
Test: Functional integration Smoke & Stress
Able to meet deadlines and objectives without constant management
Desirable: ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications
