Job Description
We have an urgent requirement for Application Administrator for OpenShift and Docker Platforms for our client in Dubai
Deploy configure and manage applications on the OpenShift and Docker including container orchestration and management.--Must
Proficiency in openshift docker Linux systems networking and storage solutions.--Must
Familiarity with Hub Helm charts and customized deployments Ansible & Terraform.--Must
Databases such as Redis Enterprise Red Hat Keycloak and EDB for PostgreSQL.--Must
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of applications ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Manage and maintain the OpenShift and Docker clusters ensuring high availability scalability and performance.
- Deploy configure and manage applications on the OpenShift and Docker platforms.
- Monitor cluster health and address issues related to nodes pods and networking promptly.
- Configure and manage OpenShift and Docker components including routes services persistent volumes and operators.
- Implement security best practices including role-based access control (RBAC) and authentication integration.
- Manage cluster networking including ingress egress and service mesh configurations.
- Automate routine tasks using tools like Ansible or custom scripts to improve efficiency.
- Integrate OpenShift and Docker with monitoring tools to ensure application observability and proactive issue resolution.
- Utilize OpenShift and Docker Operators to manage the application lifecycle effectively.
- Handle workload secret management using external secret providers to ensure data security.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift and Docker including container orchestration and management.
- Proficiency in openshift docker Linux systems networking and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Operator Hub Helm charts and customized deployments.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secure secret management.
- Expertise in automation platforms like Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with databases such as Redis Enterprise Red Hat Keycloak and EDB for PostgreSQL.
- Ability to manage multi-cluster environments effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
