Position Title:
Biomechanics and Motor Performance Laboratory Manager
Position Description:
This position is responsible for the daily oversight of operations and research activity in the Biomechanics and Motor Performance Laboratory (BMPL). This role encompasses the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment the management of research protocols the assurance of compliance with safety and regulatory standards and the provision of assistance with data collection processing and analysis. This position serves as a pivotal point of contact for laboratory personnel collaborators and stakeholders thereby facilitating the seamless functioning of educational experiences and research projects.

The BMPL is housed in the College of Health Professions. The BMPL exists in a state-of-the-art facility with access to excellent space for instruction (both lecture and laboratory) research and simulation purposes. The College of Health Professions is situated in a growing Health Campus within the rapidly expanding healthcare corridor of Grand Rapids Michigan. Opportunities exist for clinical and scholarly interprofessional collaboration with faculty and researchers from other programs within the College of Health Professions and the University as well as with healthcare professionals from community institutions.
