Pack the Snap! That is the objective for our Ticket and Premium Sales Director. The leadership role will drive ticketing revenue through strategic sales initiatives staff development and data-driven decision-making. The role will oversee all aspects of ticket and premium sales including planning execution and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong sales background a passion for building high-performing teams and a commitment to delivering exceptional fan experiences.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue Strategy & Operations
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive ticketing revenue across single-game season group and premium sales.
- Track and manage departmental budgets ensuring alignment with overall revenue targets.
- Implement and optimize revenue operations processes to enhance efficiency maximize sales opportunities and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing partnerships and business operations teams to integrate sales initiatives into broader organizational goals.
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit hire train and manage a high-performing ticket sales team fostering a culture of accountability motivation and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales representatives through hands-on leadership goal setting and performance reviews.
- Develop and lead regular training sessions focused on sales techniques customer relationship management and product knowledge to enhance team effectiveness.
- Establish clear KPIs that drive high performance and align with business objectives.
Sales Innovation & Market Expansion
- Ideate and implement new sales initiatives including innovative ticketing packages targeted promotions and special event strategies.
- Explore new revenue streams and audience segments to expand the clubs ticket-buying base and enhance the premium experience.
- Leverage emerging trends and best practices in sports sales to stay ahead of industry changes and fan preferences.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize CRM and analytics tools to monitor sales performance identify trends and adjust sales tactics for improved conversion rates.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market demand fan engagement metrics and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with business intelligence teams to create actionable reports that inform sales strategies and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years of ticket sales experience preferably in professional sports live events or entertainment.
- 3-5 years as an individual contributor in a sports sales role
- 2-4 years in a sports sales management role.
