Regions Hospital is seeking an experienced APP with excellent critical thinking skills collaboration and assessment skills to join our Palliative Care team. The APP works in collaboration with physicians and other medical staff to provide Palliative Care services to patients and their families. The APP engages in independent decision-making about health care needs and provides health care services to individuals and their families. The APP performs a comprehensive history including chart review and information gathered from the family and performs physical and psychological health assessments. The APP provides direct patient care as well as consultative services to assure state of the art Palliative APP will participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team and provide education to other health care professionals in various aspects of patient care.
Work Schedule:
1 weekend (Two 8-hour shifts) per month; moonlighting as needed
