Pay Range: $26.68 - $32.43 (based on experience)
Basic Job Functions:
- Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments
- Negotiating and securing transportation rates
- Coordinating with vendors suppliers and transport companies
- Ensuring warehouses transportation and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipment
- Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Contributes to team effort
- Uses telephones and/or email to respond to customers and/or verify account information
- Continually reviews freight costs transportation rates
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular)
- Excellent analytical problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Understanding of supply chain including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Previous customer service experience
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working for a manufacturing company
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation preferred
- 1-3 years experience in customer service preferred.
- Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred
