Job Description

Work directly for a Central New Jersey area company that produces electro-mechanical power connection products.


Technical Inside Sales Manager:


Summary:
The Technical Inside Sales Manager will lead a small team of inside sales representatives responsible for engaging with potential customers providing product and service information and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales management.
They will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to generate leads close sales and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy:
*Lead coach and mentor the inside sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets.
*Develop and implement inside sales strategies sales processes and KPIs.
*Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize lead generation and sales funnels.
*Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
*Ensure the teams adherence to company policies and best practices.
Technical Expertise:
*Understand the technical aspects of the companys products and services providing guidance and training to the sales team.
*Serve as a technical resource for the sales team assisting in solution selling and addressing technical inquiries from customers.
*Partner with the product and engineering teams to stay up to date with new features releases and updates.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
*Engage with prospective customers to identify needs and propose suitable solutions.
*Handle escalated customer inquiries or concerns and provide resolutions.
*Maintain strong relationships with key customers ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
*Work closely with the sales team to manage the sales pipeline and forecast future sales.
Team Development:
*Train onboard and continuously develop the skills of the inside sales team.
*Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
*Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment that encourages growth and performance.
Reporting & Analysis:
*Track sales activities and provide feedback on market conditions customer feedback and competitor activities.


Qualifications:
*An Associates degree in engineering technology or a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
*Proven experience in technical sales or inside sales management (3-5 years).
*Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams.
*Solid understanding of technical products and services preferably in industrial electric interconnects and portable power distribution.
*Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
*Proficient in CRM tools and other sales management software.
*Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.










Listed: $95-$115k base bonus benefits
