Job Description
Key Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $26
- Full-time position with benefit package (medical dental and vision insurance)
- Hours: 3:45pm-2:00am M-Th with the potential for mandatory OT on Fridays
- $1000 referral bonus
Responsibilities:
- Leads packaging team within a food manufacturing setting
- Trains and coaches employees and works with supervisor
- Understands and is able to perform all positions in their department
- Sets up tears down changeovers and troubleshoots various equipment and machines
- Complete various paperwork legibly accurately and in a timely manner.
- Strives to find ways to improve the system for production and labor
- Minimizes downtime and mistakes
- Addresses safety and food safety concerns and brings them to the attention of the shift supervisor
- Communicates effectively to the teams and manages effectively
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicates across functions
- Follows all safety procedures and policies and train employees to do the same
- Follows all GMPs SOPs use raw materials based on FIFO and follow all food safety guidelines and give proper direction to staff
- Understands and executes SQFHARPCHACCP policies are met
- Inspects raw materials and finished goods and ensure they meet company specifications
Qualifications:
- Food manufacturing and leadership experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Ability to understand written or spoken English instructions
- Must have the ability to speak and write in English
- Organization and time management skills required
