TRIUMFs Life Sciences Division is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Fellow in Radiochemistry to support an ambitious research program in Targeted Radionuclide Therapy (TRT) a rapidly evolving field in both academia and industry. This position is funded by the New Frontiers in Research Fund Transformation (NFRF-T) and focuses on the production of high-priority medical radionuclides including actinium-225 thorium-228 actinium-227 and others.
The successful candidate will play a central role in improving existing separation processes and supporting the routine production of these radionuclides in close collaboration with TRIUMFs production team. There will also be opportunities to explore and develop extraction techniques for additional radionuclides generated through the spallation of thorium targets (e.g. Pa-230/U-230).
The Postdoctoral candidate will report to Dr. Valery Radchenko (TRIUMF/UBC) and Dr. Qing Miao (TRIUMF) and will become part of the interdisciplinary team developing and supplying radionuclides to the New Frontiers for Research consortium.
