Schedule: 5/8 (Mon-Fri)

Job Description:

This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a warehouse environment specifically within Receiving. The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Procurement Quality Material Program Managers Customers and bargaining unit employees. Candidates will be responsible for completing tasks related to the performance of daily activities within Logistics and Quality.

Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for an individual contributor however candidates will support personnel across multiple shift assignments as well as multi-level management.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience within Logistics including Warehousing Receiving & Shipping
  • Experience within a production environment including material handling
  • Understanding of inventory management practices
  • Proficient in use of computers and electronic processing systems
  • Ability to work independently and as a group/team

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 6 months experience withSAP software
  • Minimum 2 years experience usingMicrosoft Officesoftware (Word Excel Outlook)

  • Ability to resolve quality discrepancies through system research
