Job Description

Job Summary
Provide support to the Technical Services Department of the James E. Faust Law Library at the S.J. Quinney College of Law.

Responsibilities
1. File supplements. 2. Assist with mail. 3. Digital scanning and metadata cataloging. 4. Label and shelve books. 5. Shift and move books. 6. Add and edit item records in the catalog. 7. Remove process and recycle materials from the Library (Weeding). 8. Other duties as assigned. This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required Nearly Continuously: Office environment. Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Sitting hearing listening talking. Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing) walking. Seldom: Bending reaching overhead.

Minimum Qualifications
Six months clerical or customer service experience required or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
