Web Developer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Web Developer with a strong focus on tracking and data collection technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our tracking web application ensuring robust data collection processing and integration with various marketing partners. You will work closely with team members to implement effective tracking solutions while adhering to privacy regulations.

- Develop and maintain tracking scripts and server-side components
- Implement data collection mechanisms for e-commerce platforms
- Integrate tracking solutions with major marketing partners
- Optimise tracking performance and ensure scalability
- Collaborate with team members to enhance tracking capabilities and data analysis
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data transformation processes
Experience And Skills You Will Need
Strong programming fundamentals with excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Solid understanding of web technologies and how modern web applications function
Some experience with server programming preferably with languages like Kotlin/Java
Familiarity with cloud environments particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Knowledge of SQL and experience with BigQuery or similar
Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and working with various data formats (JSON XML)
Experience with version control systems particularly Git
Understanding of web security best practices and data privacy regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Knowledge of server-side tracking implementations
Familiarity with data streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka Pub/Sub)
Understanding of web analytics and attribution models
Familiarity with GDPR and other data protection regulations
