Job Description

The Opportunity

The Director of MarTech Strategy & Performance acts as the strategic connector between marketing analytics and technology teams with a mandate to ensure that MarTech investments deliver measurable impact. The role defines how success is measured influences reporting and optimization efforts and translates results into clear compelling narratives for senior leadership. By enabling personalized data-driven marketing experiences across global business units the Director plays a critical role in advancing Manulifes bold ambition to become a digital customer leader.

Responsibilities:

Personalization Performance & Strategy

  • Ensure the teams are equipped with the right metrics and tools to meet executive reporting expectations.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner in unlocking value from CDP reporting tools and first/third-party data.
  • Foster a more insights-driven & data driven culture by bridging gaps between business analytics and technical teams.
  • Use analytics and BI expertise to ensure that dashboards and data outputs tell the right story aligned to business goals.

Executive Communication & Corporate Reporting

  • Deliver clear actionable reporting to senior leadership that communicates current state why it matters and how it drives results.
  • Support technical teams by shaping their outputs into executive-ready narratives that influence decision-making.
  • Develop reporting frameworks that provide clarity transparency and actionable insights around the personalization efforts being driven.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • Create a foundation for operational success: structured workflows repeatable processes and scalable measurement practices.


Job Requirements:

  • University Degree or equivalent working experience in a product and/or marketing position
  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing consulting and/or customer experience
  • Adaptability to change and comfort with changing priorities
  • Understanding of the digital landscape (within and outside of financial services)
  • Experience presenting to senior executives
  • Travel with short notice

Salary range is expected to be between

$105750.00 CAD - $190350.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
