Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems
Location: Vernon CA United States
Other Available Locations: N/A
Pay Rate: $17.73 (plus weekly production bonus)
Basic Job Functions:
- Manually loading rack finished pieces onto the crane running a conveyer line with a hook by lifting with a secondary helper.
- Use paint line booth spray gun to paint rack product.
- Unload finished rack system products.
- Utilize paint spray bottles to touch up any missing painted areas.
- Break down smaller metal pieces and stage them onto a pallet.
- Wrap finished pallets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimal experience working in a comparable manufacturing environment or paint line area.
- Willing to work any shift as required--weekends overtime holidays and other.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking
