Role highlights: Broad Finance role covering Accounting Reporting and Analysis
Role Overview
Exclusive to Reo Group this is a newly created highly exciting role reporting to the Financial Controller of a fast growth Manufacturer who are seeking to engage a candidate to take ownership of the day to day Accounting Reporting and Analysis for the business. They are currently in growth mode however with robust processes and systems in place the accounting aspect of this role should be straightforward. Where the client is looking to achieve value in this hire is through the development of dashboards analysis and insights through utilisation of Power Bi. This is a hands-on role that will require you to enhance the reporting and analysis capabilities to align with the scaling of the business. Therefore a passion for business improvement will be critical for success in this role.
This role has the opportunity for a candidate to develop their experience in non-core activities such as M&A activity and Systems enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close process for multiple entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct in-depth analysis of P&L results track financial KPIs and provide recommendations based on trends and performance against budget.
- Support and co-lead the development of annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts; identify financial risks and opportunities
- Manage preparation and submission of statutory tax returns including BAS FBT Payroll Tax Workers Compensation STP and TPAR.
- Lead and support Power BI initiatives building and maintaining dashboards to enhance financial transparency and decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process automation and systems upgrades to improve efficiency
- Act as a key business partner to department heads providing strategic financial insights to support business planning
Candidate Profile
Being either CA or CPA qualified you are currently likely sitting in either a Senior Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant role and seeking a move upwards to Finance Manager. This could also be considered as a sideways move for someone who is currently in a Finance Manager role. You have a strong rounded background ideally developed through hands-on roles and are seeking to develop the next stage of your career with a business who are in growth mode and require a candidate to add value across their analysis and insights. You are energetic respectful and impactful and enjoy taking on new challenges. You hold the values of service passion and integrity alongside a forward- thinking outlook.
