Insurance Defense Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a premier Los Angeles based insurance defense law firm. The firm has been fortunate to represent clients in litigated matters in state and federal courts throughout California and other jurisdictions not only on the West Coast but throughout the United States. They produce high-quality big-firm results and their attorneys are given immediate case responsibility and the ability to work within a team structure. This growing insurance defense and coverage firm is seeking highly motivated litigation attorneys with 5 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own case load work within a team environment and produce high quality work product.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must have prior insurance defense experience including substantive law motion practice conducting and defending depositions and court appearances.
- Familiarity with insurer reporting requirements.
- Trial experience is not required but preferred.
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating a diverse range of agreements and filing comprehensive complaints.
- Conducting depositions and discovery.
- Making frequent court appearances hearings and pre-trial conference.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 5 years of experience in high-stakes insurance defense litigation.
- Exceptional trial advocacy skills and a strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with insurance policies (GL D&O E&O etc.) and insurer requirements.
- Ability to handle own caseload.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base Compensation $160000 - $190000
