Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate Dentist to join our exceptional dental office in West Kelowna BC. As an integral part of our team the Associate Dentist will provide high-quality oral health care services to our patients continuing the tradition of dental excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
- Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide preventive care including cleanings fluoride treatments and oral health education.
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings crowns and bridges.
- Manage emergency dental situations and provide necessary interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options and oral health maintenance.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay current with new dental techniques technologies and regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid license to practice dentistry in British Columbia.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a general dentist is preferred but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in performing a variety of dental procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is an advantage.
