Nurse Practitioner/Pulmonology Permanent Role - Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Perform comprehensive or focused physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs imaging etc.) to assess and manage patient conditions.
- Prescribe and manage medications and other therapeutic interventions based on current protocols.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized outcomes-based treatment plans.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on disease processes treatment plans medication side effects and lifestyle modifications.
- Document patient encounters plans and outcomes in the EMR system accurately and promptly.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
- May perform invasive procedures and provide inpatient rounding admissions/discharges and on-call support when necessary.

- Skilled in interpreting diagnostic data and formulating differential diagnoses.
- Strong interpersonal communication and patient education skills.
- Proficient in EMR systems and other computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
Licensure/Certifications: - RN License: Texas RN licensure or Compact RN license.
- Nurse Practitioner License: Active NP license in Texas.
- Board Certification (One required):
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC)
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNPC-AG)
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
- BLS: Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
Education & Experience: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience: Open to new grads; less than 1 year of NP experience required.
