The product range includes various types of hook and loop fasteners value added products from hook & loop like self-adhesive hook & loop tapes webbings neoprene velvet functional elastics etc across different industries viz. Footwear Orthopaedic PPE Automobile Garment Sportswear Packaging Defence and many more .
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B and institutional sales within the textile industry particularly with products like threads zips fabrics linings buttons webbing and elastics. This role involves business development managing client relationships and driving sales growth in Chennai Kolkata Ahmedabad Surat and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share for textile accessories including threads zips fabrics linings buttons webbing and elastics in the Chennai region and surrounding areas.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including B2B customers and institutional buyers ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities monitor competitors and analyze industry trends. Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.
- Sales Targets:
Meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets. Actively pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients.
- Negotiation and Closing Deals:
Lead contract negotiations with clients and ensure timely closing of sales deals. Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs while maintaining profitability.
- Product Knowledge and Promotion:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all textile accessories products offered by the company. Promote product benefits and features to clients helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the marketing operations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Support and After-Sales Service:
Provide exceptional after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction resolve any issues promptly and ensure repeat business opportunities.
**Key Requirements:**
- Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B and institutional sales/business development in the textile or related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of textile products specifically thread zips fabrics linings buttons webbing and elastics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated target-driven and proactive in identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong network of contacts in the textile industry specifically in Chennai and surrounding regions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field preferred
