Job Description
- Install maintain and support e-terra DMS and associated EMS/SCADA products.
- Troubleshoot analyze and resolve complex issues across various tools and platforms.
- Model and simulate a wide range of electrical devices for operational support.
- Work across Transmission and Distribution electrical grid systems.
- Support and enhance system interfaces including SCADA and modeling tools.
- Ensure system compliance with NERC CIP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize grid operations using advanced monitoring and control systems.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA/EMS systems specifically with e-terra DMS.
- Strong understanding of power system operations and electrical grid modeling.
- Familiarity with outage and storm assist tools as well as EMS subsystems.
- Proven knowledge of TCP/IP protocols routing IP addressing DNS firewalls and LAN technologies
- Experience working with Windows-based environments including Active Directory.
- Diagnose and solve intermediate to advanced system issues using diverse troubleshooting methods.
- Efficiently install and configure e-terra EMS components.
- Interpret grid operations requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders under minimal supervision.
