Summary:
The New Car Manager will be responsible for the sales success of the dealership by effectively managing the staff planning and developing short and long term goals and meeting the objectives set by upper management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make monthly projections of vehicle requirements by department for immediate 90-day sales period.
- Determine monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of unit sales gross profit objectives and departmental profits.
- Forecast monthly with each salesperson to establish objectives in terms of the number and type of customers coming into the dealership closing percentages in each category time utilization prospecting efforts unit sales and projected income.
- Recommend procedures for short-and long-range advertising sales promotions staffing needs lease promotions compensation plans customer complaints salespersons evaluations and car rentals.
- Meet with each salesperson to conduct sales meetings to review results and todays plan of action.
- Provide on the job training for salespeople review monthly commission sheets productivity reports salespersons monthly forecast and profit performance.
- Maintain a balanced vehicle inventory and establish a program for moving inventory.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of New Car Manager experience in an automotive dealership.
- Proven experience managing and leading a high-performance sales team.
- Experience growing a sales operation.
- Strong coaching and training abilities to develop and grow a sales team.
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
- Professional appearance strong verbal/written communication skills
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks MVR drug test and valid driver license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of New Car Manager experience in an automotive dealership.
- High-line and/or Jaguar Land Rover experience
Additional Information :
Compensation (Draw / Commission):
- Performance-based earnings range: $12500 - 16000 / month
- Actual earnings depend on performance. High-performers who consistently meet and exceed store and corporate goals often earn well above this range.
Schedule:
- FULL TIME
