Job Purpose
Our client is a major industrial player in the Saudi market and is looking for a Sales Manager. You will oversee the entire Sales division ensuring seamless daily operations supervising and motivating the Sales team and fostering strong client relationships. You will be responsible for driving sales performance achieving targets and upholding the company s reputation as a trusted industry leader. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management and significant experience in the petrochemical industrial or oil and gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Lead manage and inspire the Sales team to achieve company objectives and exceed sales targets.
- Encourage team members to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients contractors and designated users.
- Supervise and guide Sales Engineers in following up on allocated quotations to ensure timely responses and successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Proposals Department to ensure all quotations are submitted on time and align with company policies.
- Conduct regular reviews of sales performance with the Area Sales Manager identifying and addressing any variances.
- Oversee the preparation of weekly sales visit reports discussing progress and future strategies with the team.
- Regularly review and maintain accurate CRM data to ensure effective tracking and reporting.
Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure customers receive professional service and are fully satisfied with the sales process.
- Address customer inquiries promptly ensuring all concerns are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Supervise follow-ups with customers on quoted jobs providing feedback and ensuring a positive experience.
Team Development & Leadership
- Provide strong leadership to the Sales team fostering a culture of collaboration motivation and accountability.
- Supervise mentor and develop team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Promote teamwork and encourage a supportive work environment.
Health Safety and Environment (HSE)
- Ensure all team members are aware of and comply with the company s HSE policies and procedures.
Communication & Coordination
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders including the President Director Sales Engineers Sales Coordinators Accounts IT and Admin staff.
- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders including customers suppliers and couriers.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or a related field (required).
- Master s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sales management with a proven track record in the petrochemical industrial or oil and gas sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication negotiation and organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
