Job Description

Overview
The BAMS BHMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) plays a crucial role in the healthcare organization providing essential medical services and managing patient care in a holistic manner. This role bridges the gap between traditional Ayurvedic and modern homeopathic practices ensuring comprehensive patient treatment. The RMO is responsible for coordinating clinical services supervising junior medical staff and directly interacting with patients to deliver effective health solutions. By adopting a patient-centric approach the RMO contributes significantly to patient recovery and well-being fostering trust and satisfaction within the community. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery. This position not only impacts patient outcomes but also supports the overall mission of promoting integrative health practices within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients health conditions.
  • Manage and monitor patient care plans.
  • Coordinate and implement treatment protocols.
  • Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about their health status.
  • Supervise and train junior medical staff and interns.
  • Participate in case discussions and treatment reviews.
  • Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
  • Provide emergency medical assistance as required.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and regulations.
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld in the facility.
  • Assist in organizing health camps and outreach programs.
  • Gather feedback from patients to improve services.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery).
  • Registered with the respective State Medical Council.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general practice or handling patients.
  • Strong understanding of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic principles.
  • Proficient in clinical assessment and diagnostics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and emergency situations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in supervisory roles is an advantage.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Willingness to engage in community health education.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for holistic health and well-being.
