Opportunity Overview:
We are representing a well-established legal firm with a nationally recognized financial regulatory practice seeking a motivated attorney to join their team. This role centers on bank regulatory law and compliance matters offering exposure to complex legal challenges in a collaborative environment. The practice frequently partners with internal teams handling financial services and government investigations.
This position offers hands-on client engagement from the start including international clients. Applicants should be comfortable working across various time zones as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- JD (or international equivalent) required
- Active or pending admission to the North Carolina Bar preferred
- 15 years of legal experience preferably with exposure to financial regulation compliance or similar fields
- Prior work with financial institutions regulatory bodies or compliance-focused firms is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic credentials from a top law school (Top 30 preferred GPA 3.0)
- AM Law 200 experience preferred
