Pre-KProgram Coordinator
Position Overview:
ThePre-KProgram Coordinator is a key position responsible formanaging the preschool program. This role requires a deep understanding ofearly childhoodeducation and development andNevada Ready programrequirements as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. ThePre-KProgram Coordinator will work closely withadministration teachers and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation ofearly childhoodprograms promote academic early childhood excellence budget and managed resources and support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide guidance and support to teachers in aligning curriculum with state standards district goals and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of instructional resources and materials to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
- Identify professional development needs of elementary teachers and administrators and coordinate relevant training sessions workshops and seminars.
- Collaborate with school principals to develop and implement professional development plans that enhance instructional practices and pedagogical strategies.
- Stay abreast of current research trends and best practices in elementary education and share relevant information with district staff.
- Collect analyze and interpret student performance data to assess instructional effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with principals and teachers to develop and implement data-driven action plans to address student achievement gaps.
- Provide instructional support and coaching to teachers including modeling effective instructional strategies providing feedback and facilitating collaborative planning sessions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative and research-based instructional practices.
- Collaborate with principals district administrators and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative and cohesive educational environment.
-Faciliate strong parent engagement in academics and school involvement.
Qualifications:
- A minimum ofa bachelors in education with an early childhood endorsement.
- Several years of successful teaching experience in early childhoodeducation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development instructional strategies and assessment practices for PreK.
- Strong understanding of state standards educational policies and best practices inearly childhoodeducation.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve student outcomes.
- Experience in providing professional development and coaching to teachers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency inmaintaining budgets and resource management.
- Familiarity with applicable laws regulations and compliance requirements in elementary education.
