Timings: 12pm-9pm
Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical methods and techniques.
Conduct hypothesis testing regression analysis and sampling methods to draw meaningful conclusions.
Develop and implement statistical models for data analysis ensuring the validity and accuracy of the results.
Prepare and present reports summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
Design and conduct surveys experiments or observational studies as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper data collection and integrity.
Maintain and update statistical tools and methodologies to improve analysis accuracy.
Ensure that all data analysis adheres to established statistical principles and best practices.
Assist in decision-making by providing statistical evidence and interpretations.
Stay current with new statistical techniques software and industry trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Statistician or in a similar data analysis role.
Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies such as regression analysis hypothesis testing ANOVA sampling techniques and probability theory.
Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation (e.g. Pandas NumPy SciPy).
Apply advanced techniques such as multivariate analysis (PCA factor cluster) segmentation conjoint/discrete choice analysis and time-series forecasting to consumer datasets.
Experience with statistical software (e.g. R SAS SPSS) and data visualization tools.
Excellent understanding of data collection and survey design principles.
Strong ability to work with complex data sets identifying trends and correlations.
Ability to interpret and present complex statistical results in an understandable manner to non-statisticians.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI Tableau and/or Excel for data visualization and reporting.
Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying large multi-source datasets (preferred).
Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in data interpretation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply statistical techniques to solve business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years experience in statistical analysis data modelling and data analysis.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
Familiarity with big data tools (e.g. Hadoop Spark) or cloud-based platforms is a bonus.
Prior experience working in industries such as healthcare finance or research is a plus.
