Our client is a fast-growing organisation in the hygiene and industrial cleaning solutions space serving sectors such as food & beverages and manufacturing. They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Executive Hygiene to join their Sales & Business Development team in Lagos.
This is a contract role ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to launch a career in B2B sales with a strong focus on client development product knowledge and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research on customer needs industry trends and competitor activity.
- Generate leads through cold calls networking and referrals.
- Shadow senior team members during client meetings and presentations.
- Support in the preparation of proposals quotations and sales documentation.
- Follow up on client feedback orders and collections.
- Update CRM systems and maintain accurate customer records.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing Logistics Customer Service) to support sales activities.
- Participate in training and product knowledge sessions.
- Begin taking ownership of sales targets as capabilities grow.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A degree in Business Marketing or a related field. (For F&B-focused roles chemistry food tech or chemical engineering is required.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated coachable and eager to learn.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Willingness to travel.
