Job Description
Job Summary:
The FTL (Full Truck Load) - Tracking Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring real-time tracking and coordination of shipments across the supply chain. This position is responsible for monitoring vehicle movements communicating with drivers addressing transit issues and ensuring timely deliveries in compliance with customer and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and monitor all FTL shipments from dispatch to delivery using GPS and tracking software.
Maintain real-time updates of vehicle location estimated time of arrival (ETA) and delays (if any).
Communicate regularly with drivers and fleet operators to ensure smooth movement of goods.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely updates and issue resolution.
Escalate delays route deviations or any other transport-related issues to the relevant teams.
Maintain records of trip details delivery confirmations and transit reports.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety compliance during transit.
Support the operations team in route planning driver scheduling and fleet utilization.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on shipment status and exceptions.
Collaborate with the technology team to resolve tracking software/system issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Logistics Supply Chain or related field (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in logistics operations or vehicle tracking (FTL segment preferred).
Familiarity with GPS tracking platforms and transport management systems (TMS).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
May require working in shifts including nights and weekends.
