As the Insurance & Resilience Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing management and continuous improvement of Elders corporate insurance program optimising coverage and ensuring effective risk transfer across the business. You will also support business continuity planning and enterprise resilience initiatives that align with Elders evolving risk profile and strategic objectives.
Working closely with internal stakeholders brokers insurers and risk specialists you will ensure Elders maintains robust cost-effective insurance coverage while contributing to broader risk maturity and resilience efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Insurance & Resilience Lead you will:
Lead the management and optimisation of Elders corporate insurance program ensuring alignment with operational needs and risk appetite
Oversee insurance renewals broker relationships policy reviews and strategic placement activities including M&A support
Manage the full lifecycle of insurance claims ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder engagement
Provide expert advice on insurance-related contract terms policy wordings and risk transfer mechanisms
Support business continuity planning and enterprise resilience initiatives including facilitating workshops plan development testing and maintenance
Contribute flexibly to initiatives aligned with Elders resilience and enterprise risk strategies supporting evolving business needs
Willingness and ability to travel as required to support insurance and resilience activities across the business
About you:
To be successful as our Insurance & Resilience Lead you will have:
Experience in insurance risk compliance governance or related fields ideally within corporate or insurance industry settings.
Strong understanding of insurance programs policies claims processes and risk transfer strategies
Familiarity with business continuity operational resilience and enterprise risk management frameworks
Excellent communication analytical and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels
Current drivers licence and Q-Fever vaccination (or exemption)
Flexible proactive and collaborative with a strong commitment to continuous learning and team culture
