Job Description

  • We are looking for a natural storyteller with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for deals and strategic communication to join our high-performing Corporate Affairs Team at one of Australias leading law firms.

Role Detail

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager as a core member of the Corporate Affairs Team you will play an integral role in the execution of the firms content and digital marketing strategy to drive client market and employee engagement.

With flexibility to be based out of the Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne office with a balanced approach to WFH key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging a knack for storytelling working with partners and campaigning teams to develop and deliver compelling content for go-to-market initiatives across the firms internal and external channels and for media outlets including web and press releases as well as social and multimedia stories.
  • Nurturing and managing media relationships across key legal trade and business media publicise the firms leading work and expertise.
  • Working collaboratively to develop and deliver a content strategy and pipeline for the firms responsible business diversity and inclusion early career and alumni initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider BD&M Digital Team to support the Client Insight writing and publication process
  • Monitoring analysing and reporting on performance of external campaigns and initiatives.

About You

This will suit a proactive storyteller with a natural curiosity about the commercial world. You will bring your passion for writing content and knowledge of how to leverage it across a variety of channels. You will also bring:

  • A background in communications journalism PR or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to turn complex legal or business content into engaging narratives.
  • Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
  • Experience in media relations and familiarity with the professional services or legal landscape is highly regarded.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong understanding of and a passion for digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to execute digital marketing campaigns. An interest in video and audio storytelling will be beneficial.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and Eloqua (preferred)
