Job Summary

Equinix is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Services Analyst AMER Benefits to join our team. In this role you will oversee and administer benefits processes across AMER countries including Brazil Peru Chile Mexico Colombia and initially focusing on the US and Canada. You will serve as a key resource for employees addressing their benefits inquiries and collaborating with partners and insurers to ensure effective administration of various benefits plans.

As an HR Services Analyst you will work closely diverse multicultural teams including payroll Centers of Excellence (COE) HR Business Advisors (HRBA) and management. You will also contribute to global and regional projects which will involve creating and updating documentation to enhance our benefits offerings. Your proactive approach critical thinking skills and commitment to ensuring a seamless end-to-end process will be vital to your success in this role. Responsibilities:

HR Services Execution: Serve as a highly skilled specialist in HR services executing all processes and addressing queries up to Tier 2. You will also assist with Tier 3 inquiries ensuring a high level of service and support. Provide exceptional support to employees by addressing Tier 2 questions and requests through our Case Management System. Your commitment to customer service will enhance the employee experience.

Benefits Administration: Oversee the daily administration of employee benefit programs including health insurance life insurance meal vouchers and other allowances across AMER countries.

Process Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end processes enabling you to assist seamlessly at every stage of complex workflows. Your insights will support the entire region and enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams external vendors and brokers to ensure the smooth operation of our benefits programs. Your collaborative spirit will foster strong partnerships that drive success.

Knowledge Management: Create improve and maintain internal documentation related to processes including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Work Instructions (WIs) and Process Maps. Attend project sessions to learn from others ask insightful questions and ensure comprehensive knowledge capture throughout the documentation process.

Content Development: Develop and update HR articles and guides on benefit-related matters that employees have access to accurate and relevant information.

Enrollment and Auditing: Ensure that employees are enrolled in their benefits programs and conduct regular audits of benefits data to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Vendor Relations: Collaborate closely with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve issues and optimize service delivery ensuring that our employees receive the best possible support.

SLA and KPI Management: Understand and execute on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring that we meet our operational goals and deliver high-quality service.

Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service by delivering high-quality resolutions and consistent support for standard processes following documented work instructions and guidelines.

Compliance Adherence: Understand and adhere to compliance requirements for SOX Employee Data Governance and other policy mandates ensuring that our practices meet regulatory standards.

Global and Regional Projects: Participate in global and regional projects contributing your insights and expertise. Attend project sessions to learn from colleagues share best practices and ensure that all knowledge is captured and documented effectively.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field.

Language: Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.

Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated solid knowledge and expertise in negotiation with the ability to advocate effectively for employee benefits.

Experience: Previous experience in benefits administration in the US and Canada is highly desirable and will set you apart as a candidate.
