Biomed Equipment Technician Apprentice
Pay Rate: $23.50- $30.00 Hourly
Location: Stockton CA 95203
Job Description:
We are seeking a Biomed Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team in Stockton CA. In this role you will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to learn how to install maintain and repair medical equipment. You will also assist in conducting safety inspections and calibrations on a variety of biomedical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- Learn to conduct safety inspections and calibrations on biomedical equipment
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in biomedical equipment technology and BMET courses completed preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must pass background and drug screen
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
