The TREX team at Redfin helps drive user growth and retention by building tools that let teams experiment test and discover what resonates with users. We own and maintain REF Redfins A/B testing framework which powers experimentation across the company. We also support content orchestration tools that let non-engineers build and test site and app experiences along with segmentation tools that help teams tailor user journeys based on behavior and attributes. Our work reduces engineering overhead increases experimentation velocity and helps teams learn what worksfaster.
The Role
As a Software Engineer on TREX youll help develop and scale the platforms that power product experimentation and personalization at Redfin.
Your work will shape how teams test ideas ship features and measure impact.
Build and maintain data pipelines and APIs to support experimentation and personalization
Develop scalable applications backed by relational and non-relational databases
Create internal tooling to support platform reliability observability and self-service
Collaborate with product and analytics partners to enable rapid experimentation
Contribute to A/B testing infrastructure and feature rollout tools
About You
Youll have at least 2 years of experience building scalable systems or data platforms
Familiarity with our tech stack: Java Python PostgreSQL Snowflake Airflow Kubernetes and AWS
Youll have experience building internal tools for data quality monitoring or automation
A collaborative curious mindset and interest in helping teams move faster
Passion for empowering others through great platforms and tools

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.
Base Pay Range: $107400.00 - 145200.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances including the position location individual qualifications market finances and other operational business needs.
