As a Network Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. You will be responsible for planning deploying integrating and testing network upgrades at operational sites as well as traveling to remote locations for network installations and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with C2BMC and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of the network. Secret clearance required with Top Secret (TS) highly desired.

Solid knowledge of network design development and testing methodologies.
Understanding of the OSI Model TCP/IP and routing protocols (BGP OSPF).
Knowledge of UDP multicast SONET MSPP VLANs GRE Tunnels and TCP/IP network designs.
Network traffic analysis diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative and agile environment.

Experience with firewalls (Juniper Fortinet Palo Alto).
Advanced knowledge of specialized network technologies like UDP multicast SONET and GRE Tunnels.
Familiarity with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper Cisco) WAN optimizers TACLANEs and optical transport equipment.

Target salary range: USD $108374.00/Yr. - USD $120227.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
