Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.
What are we looking for
The Entry Level Field Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of testing project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. This position will be required to occasionally work in local Chemical Plants.
Salary & Benefits Information:
The base wage or salary range for this position is dependent on experience. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other job-related reasons.

What youll do:
Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting
Utilize drawings specifications and diagrams
Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results
Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
Report as needed to clients jobsites to perform Concrete / Soil Compaction testing and inspection pick-up concrete / soil samples and perform laboratory testing on concrete / soil samples

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Some Construction Material Testing experience
Valid drivers license and reliable driving record
Must be able to pass a plant background and Hair Follicle drug test
Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
Ability to lift move push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures
Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights
Ability to work over night hours and off shift
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year Construction Material Testing (CMT) experience
ACI / NICET Certifications
Plant experience
