Job Description
Cathedral is seeking a Dishwasher/Food Server for the 2025-2026 school year. The hours are daily from 9am - 1:30pm.
Rate of pay:$14-$15 per hour based on experience
Benefits:Earned Sick and Safe Time Retirement and Tuition Remission.
Job Summary:
Our Food Service Department proudly offers students a wide variety of nutritious affordable and satisfying meals that enable them to succeed academically and physically while teaching lifelong healthy eating habits. Food service department staff will receive direction from the Director of Food Service and will participate in maintaining a safe sanitary orderly and attractive environment. We are currently seeking customer service-oriented staff members to join our fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Food service department staff will receive direction from the Director of Food Service and will participate in maintaining a safe sanitary orderly and attractive environment. We are currently seeking customer service-oriented staff members to join our fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes after each shift put away clean dishes and restock in the kitchen.
- Serve food according to established procedures while maintaining a neat and clean serving area.
- Use proper utensils and monitor portion sizes.
- Maintain alertness to student allergy restrictions while serving and practicing food safety and sanitation techniques.
- Record student food choices using a computer terminal.
- Daily set-up and clean-up of the serving area. This includes but is not limited to stocking products portioning a la carte items and cleaning and sanitizing the serving area.
- Maintain a clean orderly and safe environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to stand continuously walk frequently reach with arms/hands frequently and stoop/kneel occasionally.
