Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 4:00am-5:30pm
What You Will Do:
As a Production Associate I you will assemble and process components for a variety of medical devices following detailed instructions and quality standards in a cleanroom or production environment. Responsibilities include:
Saws Station: Work in a loud fast-paced area with up to 200 saws. Load nitinol material into machines which cut the material into specific part lengths.
Off-Saw Inspection: Visually inspect parts that come directly off the saw to ensure they meet specifications before moving to the next step.
Acid Etching (High Priority Station): Handle diluted hydrochloric acid to deburr the inside of nitinol tubing. Requires chemical handling and safety procedures. Tubing is rinsed in water following the etch.
OD Deburr: Load parts into long mandrels to remove excess material from the outer diameter. Parts are then ejected for the next process.
Final Inspection & Heating: Ensure all parts meet final specifications before placing them into ovens (up to 500F) for heat processing. Inspect and package finished parts into Clean Environment Assembly (CEA).
Follow Specified Processes: Strictly adhere to documented work instructions safety protocols and quality standards at each station.
Additional Responsibilities:
Monitor and document production using computers or electronic systems.
Prepare finished products for shipment.
Maintain clean workstations and perform basic set-ups and quality checks.
