Job Description
Our client is a long-established manufacturer of manual valve actuators (chainwheels) and accessories proudly operating out of New Bedford for over a century. At our facility we inspect assemble and ship quality products to distributors across the U.S. and the world.
Were looking for ahands-on Shipping Coordinatorto join our small tight-knit team. This role is ideal for someone whos organized reliable and ready to wear a few hats to keep things moving efficiently.
What Youll Do:
- Pull pack and prep orders for shipment
- Weigh and label packages for UPS and palletized freight
- Schedule deliveries and pickups with carriers
- Prepare bills of lading for outbound shipments
- Operate a forklift for loading/unloading
- Keep the shipping area clean safe and organized
What Were Looking For:
- At least 1 year of shipping experience ideally in a lead or supervisory role
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and use basic power tools
- Familiar with UPS WorldShip ERP systems and Microsoft or Google Suite
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Forklift experience (well train the right person if needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:$25.00 per hour
