The role:
The Community Strengthening Officer (CSO) sits within the Community Strengthening team which exists to deliver on Councils commitment to social equity inclusion accessibility participation health and wellbeing and sense of belonging for the Whitehorse community. The team has a particular focus on communities and population groups experiencing inequity and disadvantage as identified in the Councils Integrated Planning Framework. The Community Strengthening team works across a range of portfolios such as community grants volunteering disability reconciliation multicultural multifaith health and wellbeing family violence prevention gender equality and LGBTIQA.
About you:
The position will take responsibility for the following key responsibilities objectives and strategies and where required will also support the team members to deliver their positional responsibilities and objectives.
