About the role
Max-term fulltime role providing advanced evidence-based and person-centred dietetic care to ambulatory and community-based clients as part of our diabetes service.
Serve as a leading clinical consultant and expert resource locally and statewide offering specialist advice and guidance to multidisciplinary teams and health services.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams contributing to clinical meetings service planning and fostering a positive team culture aligned with organisational goals.
Provide clinical education support and mentoring to staff across various disciplines to enhance integrated care delivery.
Lead and supervise junior Dietitians and dietetic students acting as a clinical role model within the Diabetes Department and broader clinical teams.
Drive research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery while supporting the development of departmental research capacity and clinical practice standards.
About you
Degree in in Nutrition and Dietetics accredited by Dietitians Australia with full Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status and Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification through the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). Post graduate qualifications are highly regarded.
Proven expertise in delivering advanced clinical diabetes education and management within complex tertiary healthcare settings with strong clinical judgment for managing challenging cases.
Committed to driving quality improvement and research with extensive experience leading designing and evaluating impactful projects.
Skilled in providing clinical supervision and fostering professional development within healthcare teams.
Exceptional leadership and communication abilities thriving both collaboratively and independently in fast-paced high-demand environments while effectively planning and leading clinical services.
