Position Summary:
Delta Dental is seeking a DevOps Middleware Engineer with strong recent experience in middleware technologies particularly in Java-based platforms like WebLogic. This is an onsite role focused on supporting and automating middleware environments Linux-based troubleshooting and application deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate is not a general DevOps engineer but one who is currently and actively involved in middleware administration automation and troubleshooting.
Top Must-Have Skills:
Linux OS Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting applications in a Linux environment
Shell Scripting & Automation:
- Ability to write troubleshoot and maintain shell scripts
- Experience in automating infrastructure or application tasks using shell scripting
Middleware (Java Platforms - Preferably WebLogic):
- Solid experience in middleware administration and automation
- Recent hands-on experience with WebLogic or other Java-based middleware platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot and support Java applications in production and pre-production environments
