About the Job
Were seeking a Software Engineer to join a fast-scaling health technology company building the most advanced AI-powered claims adjudication platform in the industry.
This is a full-time on-site role in San Francisco CA where youll work directly with founders to design and deliver production-quality software that transforms how small companies access and manage healthcare benefits.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Write production-quality Python and TypeScript code to deliver reliable high-performance systems.
- Develop the fastest and most accurate claims adjudication engine in the industry.
- Build and scale financial integrations and money movement features to support healthcare transactions.
- Improve user experience for members across in-app and phone channels to boost engagement and satisfaction.
- Define technical specifications scope requirements and ship features daily in a startup environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and product teams to align technical solutions with customer needs.
- Implement best practices for code quality deployment and scalability.
What Youll Need:
- 25 years of professional software engineering experience (startup or fast-moving tech company preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of backend infrastructure APIs and data integrations.
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end from concept to deployment.
- Experience shipping features and iterating rapidly in production environments.
- Mission-oriented mindset passionate about improving healthcare through technology.
- Ability to work 45 days per week in-office in San Francisco.

- Experience in healthtech or fintech environments.
- Proven success building or scaling zero-to-one products.
- Demonstrated stability in prior roles with career growth or promotions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
