Job Description
We are offering sign on bonuses ranging from $2500-$5000 plus relocation assistance. We offer excellent benefits and above scale pay for qualified elevator mechanics.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced and licensed Elevator Mechanics to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the installation repair maintenance and inspection of a wide variety of vertical transportation equipment including elevators escalators and lifts. Candidates must meet the specific licensing requirements for the state in which they intend to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install maintain repair and modernize elevator systems and components
- Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment complies with local state and federal safety codes
- Diagnose issues and perform necessary adjustments or part replacements
- Maintain accurate records of work performed materials used and time spent
- Respond to emergency service calls including being on-call during off-hours
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate with project managers contractors and clients on job status and requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in elevator repair and maintenance
- Completion of an accredited elevator apprenticeship program or equivalent on the job experience and training
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems schematics blueprints and applicable safety codes
- Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
- CET (Certified Elevator Technician) or NEIEP Certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Experience with both residential and commercial elevator units
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and tools (up to 75 lbs)
- Must be able to stand kneel climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Comfortable working at various heights and in varying weather conditions

- Pay will be determined based on experience and licensure
